BRUSSELS: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has expressed hope that the first Gulf-European Summit would be a turning point in the existing cooperation between the two sides.
In a post on his official X account, His Highness the Amir said, "Today I participated in the first Gulf-European Summit, which is held to embody the strong historical relations between our countries and their mutual interests. We hope that this important international occasion will represent a turning point in the course of our relations by investing in existing cooperation mechanisms or developing them in line with the promising prospects of cooperation and strengthening Gulf-European relations in various fields."
