Held under the theme ‘From Effectiveness to Sustainability,’ the forum also aims to encourage the exchange of ideas and opinions, review successful governance experiences, and share best practices and lessons learned from family businesses in GCC countries.

Furthermore, it seeks to end with recommendations for developing legislation and policies that support family business governance and strengthen relationships among family business owners.

The forum targets participants, including heads and representatives of GCC chambers, family business leaders, and officials from ministries of commerce, industry, and stock exchanges in the GCC countries.

Tamkeen Academy was established in Qatar at the beginning of 2024 to quickly become one of the active entities in providing Qatari institutions with educational and consulting solutions and capacity-building programs.

The academy’s overall mission is to contribute to enhancing the strategic transformation in the Qatari business environment through the academy’s three main components: capacity building, specialized consulting, and academic programs.
