The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a series of high-level meetings on the sidelines of the First Summit of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) and the European Union (EU) in Brussels on Wednesday.

HH the Amir met with President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola.

The meeting dealt with bilateral relations between Qatar and the European Parliament and the ways to enhance them, in addition to the latest regional and international developments of shared concern, especially the situation in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories and Lebanon, along with several topics on the summit agenda.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, a host of members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir, and a number of members of the European Parliament. (QNA)

HH the Amir also met with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala.

The two sides discussed the existing bilateral relations and ways to boost them. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest, especially the developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories and Lebanon.

Also present were Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Minister of State for Energy Affairs HE Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs HE Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, along with members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir.

It was attended on the Czech by several senior officials.

HH the Amir met with Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The two sides discussed the existing bilateral relations and ways to boost them across various fields. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest, especially the developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories and Lebanon. The deliberations also covered the key topics on the summit agenda.

HH the Amir also met with Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo.

The meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them, in addition to sharing perspectives on the latest issues, as well as regional and global developments of shared concern, especially developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories and Lebanon. Additionally, the meeting discussed the most prominent topics on the summit agenda.
