The Cabinet met under the chair of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah at its headquarters in the Amiri Diwan, on Wednesday.
The Cabinet approved a draft law adopting the State’s general budget for the fiscal year 2025 and decided to refer it to the Shura Council.
The Cabinet also agreed to a draft law on attracting non-Qatari investment and its role in economic activities. The preparation of this draft law aims to attract and incentivise investment in the country’s economic activities and to facilitate and simplify procedures for non-Qatari investment in line with the Third National Development Strategy.
