DOHA: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has forecast rainy weather for the weekend.
In a social media post, the QMD said both Friday and Saturday are expected to witness thundershowers associated with strong wind and poor visibility at times.
On Friday, the winds will be Northwesterly-Southeasterly blowing between 8-18 knots, gusting at 35 knots during thundershowers.
On Saturday, the direction of the wind is Northwesterly-Northeasterly blowing between 8 to 18 knots and gusting at 45 knots during thundershowers.
The wave heights, on Friday, will be 3-5 feet, rising to 13 feet during rain, while on Saturday, they will be 2-4 feet, rising to 9 feet during thundershowers.
