WarsawcTypeface:> Four people died and 12 were injured in a major pile-up involving 22 vehicles near the northern Polish city of Gda?sk, media reports said on Saturday. The accident occurred on Friday evening at around 11:15 pm (2115 GMT) at an exit of the S7 motorway near the village of Borkowo, Poland’s TVN24 broadcaster reported. The accident site, which is part of the southern bypass of Gdask, has been a construction site for some time. A 37-year-old lorry driver was arrested after the incident, having apparently hit a car travelling in front of him, police said. The man was not found to have been under the influence of alcohol.   A total of three lorries were involved in the accident, the exact  circumstances of which were still being investigated. (dpa)
