KievcTypeface:> At least 17 people have been injured in a Russian missile attack on the southern Ukrainian industrial city of Kryvyi Rih, with eight of them admitted to hospital, the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Vilkul, said on Sunday. Russian forces had attacked the city, which lies some 350 kilometres south-east of Kiev, with two ballistic missiles. More than two dozen buildings were damaged, including a residential block, Vilkul said. Both sides launched a large number of drones across their mutual border. The Russian Defence Ministry reported intercepting 110 Ukrainian drones across several regions, including one near Moscow. Four people were injured near Nizhny Novgorod to the east of Moscow. Ukrainian authorities reported downing more than a dozen Russian drones over Kiev and its surroundings. (dpa)
