The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the storming of the courtyards of Al Aqsa Mosque by hundreds of settlers under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, stating that it’s a flagrant violation of international law and a provocation of the feelings of Muslims around the world.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned, in a statement on Sunday, of the repercussions of repeated Israeli attempts to undermine the religious and historical status of Al Aqsa Mosque, and stressed the need for the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities towards Jerusalem and its sanctities.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar’s firm position on the justice of the Palestiniancause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian
people, including the full right to practice their religiousrituals without restrictions, and to establish theirindependent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. (QNA)
