Minister of Municipality HE Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah led a delegation of the Ministry of Municipality team to the opening of the Saudi Agricultural Exhibition 2024, which runs from October 21 to 24.
Qatar’s participation in the Saudi Agricultural Exhibition comes within the context of strengthening cooperation and coordination relations in the field of agriculture and food security between Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Municipality, and Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
Being held under the theme ‘Innovations, modern agricultural systems and smart agriculture’, the 41st edition of the exhibition includes the latest innovations, technologies, pioneering solutions, and advanced agricultural engineering.
It highlights developments in the agricultural sector in Saudi Arabia, as well as future prospects and aspirations, and reviews the latest global technologies and expertise in the field of agriculture and food security.
On the sidelines of the event, the Minister of Municipality met with Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al Fadley. During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two sides in areas of common interest, especially in the fields of agriculture and food security, and ways to enhance them.
