Qatar Petroleum enjoys a better position today because of the support and contributions of its board of directors, Minister of State for Energy Affairs and QP President and CEO HE Saad Sherida al Kaabi said on Monday.

He was addressing the outgoing members of the QP Board at a lunch he hosted in their honour. The QP board was restructured on November 4 by the Amiri decision number 73 of 2018.
Kaabi expressed his"deepest gratitude" to the board's former chairman HE Dr Mohammed bin Saleh al Sada, HE Ibrahim al Ibrahim, and Hamad Rashid al Muhannadi for their distinguished services and contributions during their tenure, which had a great impact on the success of Qatar Petroleum.
"I speak on behalf of all Qatar Petroleum's employees, companies, joint ventures, and stakeholders when I say that this leading corporation enjoys a better position today because of your support and contributions. I am confident that these contributions are an example to follow in the harmonious performance of the higher management, which has led to achieving the best interests of Qatar Petroleum as well as the State of Qatar," Kaabi said.
The event was attended by Qatar Petroleum's executive vice presidents and other senior officials.
