The Council of the League of Arab States at the level of permanent delegates will hold an extraordinary session on Tuesday, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo, to discuss Arab and international action to stop the crimes of genocide, brutality and forced displacement committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The extraordinary session of the Council is being held based on an urgent request submitted by Palestine to the General Secretariat of the Arab League, with the aim of discussing the continued crimes of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the separation and military siege of the northern part of the Strip from the rest of its parts.
For the seventeenth consecutive day, northern Gaza have been under Israeli siege and starvation amidst violent aerial and artillery bombardment. (QNA)
