The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani and President of Rwanda Paul Kagame, who is also the current president African Union, held a formal talks session at the Amiri Diwan on Thursday.
During the talks session, the two sides discussed the latest regional and international developments and exchanged views on them. They also discussed strengthening cooperation mechanisms between Qatar and the African Union.
HH the Amir and the Rwandan president also witnessed the signing of an air services agreement, an agreement on the promotion and protection of mutual investments and a memorandum of understanding on economic, trade and technical cooperation.
A number of ministers and members of the official delegation accompanying the president attended the session and the signing ceremonies.
HH the Amir later hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of President Kagame and his accompanying delegation.
