QATAR: Thundershowers have been observed in different parts of the country,the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said.
The rains were associated with strong winds and sometimes with hail, it added in a social media post.
Scattered rain may continue as the night falls, QMD said adding that the wind will bemainly Northeasterly-Northwesterly at light to moderate speed gusting at 25 knots.
OnFriday too the country can expectthundery rain associated with strong winds and high seas. The direction of the wind isNorthwesterly-Northeasterly at 8-18 knots, gusting to 26 knots during thundery rain.
On Saturday, the conditions will berelatively hot.
