Under the patronage of Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of State for Interior Affairs HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al Thani on Wednesday inaugurated the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Homeland Security and Safety Technology on the sidelines of Milipol Qatar 2024 at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The opening was attended by several senior state officials, distinguished guests, ministers, police chiefs from several countries, ambassadors, experts, specialists, researchers, and AI enthusiasts.
The two-day conference, held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, featured a series of sessions focusing on the pivotal role of artificial intelligence in addressing escalating global security threats and explores keyways to leverage technology to enhance security
efforts.
