DOHA: On Thursday evening, at the conclusion of the 15th edition of the Milipol Qatar exhibition for internal security and safety, the Milipol Qatar Committee announced the value of contracts signed by the Ministry of Interior and the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) with several exhibiting companies on the third and final day of the event.
The committee stated that the total contracts for the Ministry of Interior on the third day amounted to QR297,381,539.
The Ministry signed with the French company IDEMIA a contract worth QR20,999,486, another with Mannai Trading Co for QR221,571,668, a contract with Sedeer Medical Services for QR8,497,498, a deal with Multi Services Company Qatar (MSC-Q) for QR22,423,070, a contract with Global TSCM Group, Inc for QR19,000,000, and an agreement with the UK’s BAE Systems for QR4,889,817.
The Milipol Qatar Committee further clarified that the total contracts signed by the Ministry of Interior over the exhibition days reached QR566,966,196, while the contracts signed by the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) amounted to QR275,047,022. The total value of contracts for both the Ministry of Interior and Lekhwiya throughout the exhibition reached QR842,013,218.
