The Ministry of Labour (MoL), represented by the Qualifying and Skills Development Department, in collaboration with the Excellence Centre for Training and Consultancy at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, on Thursday organised a field visit to the Turkish Cultural Centre for trainees enrolled in the specialised Customer Service programme.
The initiative aims to introduce them to various work environments within the customer service sector.
The field visit is part of the professional training courses associated with the Customer Service programme designed to qualify and prepare trainees for their entry into the private sector labour market.
The programme enhances their professional skills through practical experiences that develop their capabilities in public engagement, adhering to the highest international quality standards in customer service.
During the visit, trainees observed the methods employed by the centre in customer interaction and communication. They learned how to efficiently address the needs and inquiries of the public and visitors, utilising advanced techniques during live chat sessions.
The Customer Service programme is aligned with the Ministry of Labour’s commitment to achieving the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to establish a motivated and competitive national talent base capable of meeting the demands of the private sector.
