DOHA: Chair of the 14th Electronic Referendum Committee at the Mall of Qatar, Brigadier Dr Mohammed Radi Al Hajri, praised the great technological development seen in the constitutional amendment referendum, which ensured an easy, comfortable and facilitated voting process.
Thanks to the advanced means of technology used, and the good organisation by all parties concerned, the voting process takes only a few minutes, Brig Al Hajri told Qatar News Agency (QNA).
The referendum process is proceeding smoothly, and the big voter turnout reflects citizens' responsibility in developing general plans related to the country's future, by exercising their national right to participate in the referendum and express their opinion with full responsibility and awareness, recognising the significance of their vote in shaping Qatar's prosperous future and promoting the development process, Brig Al Hajri said.
The Chair of the 14th Electronic Referendum Committee at the Mall of Qatar noted that citizens are provided with everything they need to facilitate the voting process, including designated parking spaces, and coordinators to help them cast their votes.
He indicated that the voters expressed their complete satisfaction with the easy and simple electronic voting process.
