A number of citizens who cast their votes on the draft constitutional amendments described the referendum as a correct and blessed step in the path to Qatar’s renaissance. They said the measure supports the country’s development and progress under the wise leadership of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
In remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the citizens said that the constitutional amendments serve the interests of the nation and embody the insightful vision of HH the Amir.
In his remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Ali Ibrahim Al Sulaiti commended the constitutional amendments and citizens’ feedback on them as a significant and beneficial step forward. He emphasised that these amendments will strengthen the country’s cohesion and social fabric. Al Sulaiti highlighted the substantial voter turnout as a clear reflection of the public’s positive response to the generous invitation by His Highness the Amir for active participation in the referendum. This turnout, he noted, also underscores citizens’ awareness of the importance of their involvement in shaping the nation’s future.
Essa Al Abduljabbar described the referendum on the constitutional amendments as a historic milestone in Qatar’s triumphant journey toward progress, development, and social unity. He expressed that citizens hold unwavering confidence in their wise leadership and the thoughtful decisions and directions it pursues, with the primary goal being the welfare of the nation and its people.
Jassim Sohrab Mohammed affirmed to QNA that the referendum on the constitutional amendments, facilitated by the various means provided by the General Referendum Committee, represents a significant step in the pride, progress, and development experienced by the Qatari people under the wise leadership of HH the Amir. He noted that citizens take great pride in their leadership, their nation, and its accomplishments, adding that they continually aspire to achieve what is best for the prosperity of their country and its people.
