DOHA: QatarEnergy has inaugurated four LNG vessels, the first from Korean shipyards in its historic shipbuilding programme.
The event was held with the participation of Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of QatarEnergy HE Eng Saad Sherida Al Kaabi.
The vessels are named Id’asah, Nuaijah, Umm Swayyah, and Lebrethah and are part of 128 vessels ordered.
The naming of the vessels was conducted by Assistant Manager of Scholarship and Vocational Programs at QatarEnergy Fatima Mohammed Al Ali.
Fatima was selected for this role at the naming ceremony in recognition of her dedicated service at QatarEnergy for over 25 years.
