Qatar Charity (QC) has signed a framework cooperation agreement with the Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation, Egypt, aiming to enhance health care support for children with cancer.
This agreement is part of Qatar Charity’s efforts to support health and development initiatives, provide essential humanitarian assistance to enhance health care for children, and ensure effective treatment opportunities for them. The agreement reflects the commitment of both parties to achieving the goals and principles of humanitarian and developmental work.
The agreement was signed by Nawaf Abdullah Al Hammadi, chief global officer at Qatar Charity, and Sherif Hussin, deputy executive director at Children’s Cancer Hospital Group, Egypt. The agreement will open opportunities for collaboration between both parties in humanitarian and development initiatives.
On the sidelines of the signing, both sides emphasized the importance of this partnership in providing comprehensive healthcare for children with cancer and supporting their families. They expressed their commitment to expanding cooperation to meet the growing needs of patients and improve their quality of life.
On this occasion, Nawaf Abdullah Al Hammadi expressed his delight at signing the agreement with the Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation, Egypt. He said, "This agreement marks our first collaboration in the health sector in Egypt. We are committed to making this partnership fruitful by delivering effective services to children and contributing to higher recovery rates and reduced mortality among cancer patients in the near future.”
Al Hammadi also expressed hope for this partnership to be long-term, encompassing various fields to facilitate knowledge exchange, capacity building, and funding. He voiced his aspiration that it will support healthcare activities and centres in the region through shared experiences and expertise.
Sherif Hussin expressed pride and happiness in the strategic collaboration with Qatar Charity. He emphasized that this partnership is a significant step toward improving the quality of health care provided to children with cancer, considering Qatar Charity a strategic partner for the hospital.
Hussin added, "With this new partnership with Qatar Charity, we look forward to expanding our medical services and reaching a greater number of children, which will help improve recovery rates and achieve more positive outcomes.”
He thanked Qatar Charity for the fruitful collaboration, hoping that this success marks the beginning of a series of joint achievements in the future.
