Jokcey Soufiane Saadi guided Wathnan Racing’s Doha Bu Thaila to victory in 1300m race for the Local Thoroughbred Novice Plate for three-year-olds during the Sealine Cup Day Division II at the Al Uqda on Saturday. The Alban de Mieulle-trianed bay filly won the race by two and a half lengths. Earlier in the day,Saadi also rode Osama Omer E al-Dafea-owned Ghassan to victory in the Local horoughbred Novice Plate for three-year-olds race. The Al Rabban Racing-owned Harb (QA) stormed to victory in the 1400-metre race for Local Thoroughbred Conditions 3-year-olds and up. The Harb, trained by Ibrahim Saeed Al Malki, secured victory by a narrow short head with jockey Tomas Lukasek in the saddle. The firstfour races of The Sealine Cup were held at the Al Uqda Complex because of the ongoing work at the Al Rayyan Racecourse.
