ASTAD was the official sponsor for project management at this year’s annual ‘Made in Qatar’ expo in Muscat.
The four-day event was held from December 6-9 at Oman Convention and Exhibition Center in Muscat and welcomed a vast number of leading Qatari companies along with small and medium-sized enterprises.
ASTAD CEO Engineer Ali al Khalifa said, “I would like to thank Qatar Chamber for arranging this expo which support and further enhance Qatar and Oman’s business relations.
“As a brotherly nation, Oman is a key pillar to our international expansion and it is central for us to work collaboratively to deliver world-class projects with a focus on
excellence.”
ASTAD showcased their portfolio of projects in Qatar in addition to their recent penetration of the Omani market.
Chief Commercial Officer and General Manager of ASTAD International, Engineer Abdulaziz al Mulla, introduced ASTAD to the Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Ali bin Ahmed al Kuwari and Oman’s General Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development President Yahia bin Saeed al Jabri.
Mulla said, “Over the last few years we have been keen to enter the Omani market as part of our strategic international expansion. As of today, I am proud to say that our office in Oman has been established and we have already began work on two
major projects.”
