DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has highlighted the importance of thejoint Arab-Islamic summit held in Riyadh on Monday.
In a post on his official X account, HH the Amir said, "Today I participated in the joint Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh, and I highly appreciate the efforts of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in hosting this important summit to discuss ways to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories and Lebanon, and to provide more humanitarian assistance to civilians."
HH the Amir added, "I thank the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the warm welcome and hospitality that we and the accompanying delegation received."
