Rashid Saeed Adiba , the Secretary-General of the Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation (QCSF), crowned Qatar University as the winner of the University Cricket Tournament for 2024-2025 season.

Qatar University claimed the title, following a narrow 99-98 victory over Doha University for Science and Technology, which took second place, while Hamad Bin Khalifa University secured third place.

The Secretary-General presented a commemorative shield to Dr. Angela Flowerday, Vice President of Doha University for Science and Technology for student affairs, in appreciation of the university’s organizational and administrative efforts as the host of the Tournament.

He also honored Khalid Al Rumaihi, Secretary-General of the Qatar Cricket Association, for the federation’s role in providing organizational and technical support for the Tournament.

During the award ceremony, Mohamed Suleiman (Qatar University) received the Best Player award, Abdullah Arshad (Doha University for Science and Technology) won the Best Batter award, and Zaland Saeed (Qatar University) was awarded Best Bowler Notably, the QCSF organized the Men’s University Cricket Tournament for the 2024-2025 season in collaboration with the Qatar Cricket Federation and Doha University for Science and Technology (the host institution), held from November 3 to 11, 2024.

The tournament brought together teams from several educational institutions, including Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), Qatar University, Northwestern University in Qatar, and the host institution, Doha University for Science and Technology (UDST).
