Qatar University (QU) and the National Service Academy (NSA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of education, research, and training. Dr Omar Al-Ansari, president of QU, and Major General Hamad bin Ahmed Al-Nuaimi, president of NSA, signed the MoU in the presence of several officials from both institutions.

The MoU reflects a shared commitment to exchanging expertise and enhancing institutional capabilities in alignment with mutual interests and to support comprehensive national development.

The MoU outlines several objectives, including the exchange of expertise and information between the two institutions and organising joint conferences, workshops and lectures to foster scientific and research collaboration. It also includes organising training courses aimed at improving individual competencies and developing the skills of the Qatari community.

The MoU represents a joint effort between QU and the National Service Academy to advance education and scientific research in Qatar. It will facilitate the implementation of educational, training and research programmes aimed at building the capabilities of Qatari youth and contributing to the spread of a culture of volunteerism.
