The Qatar Black Gold Sapatilha Eagles Club (QABSEC) marked a milestone celebration with an induction ceremony on November 15, at the Holiday Villa Doha Hotel.

The programme was highlighted by the presence of distinguished guests, including Hon. Consul General of the Philippine Embassy in Qatar HE Cassandra Karemaeh Sawadjaan, and Migrant Workers Office-Qatar Welfare Officer Nestor Burayag.

The event welcomed 12 new members, collectively known as ‘Batch Majestic’, into the fraternity, alongside the addition of 12 more members from two Saudi Arabia-based Eagles clubs.

The new inductees are under the leadership of Governor Eagle Dande Serot of the Saudi Arabia Black Gold Sapatilha Eagles Eastern Region III (SABGSEER III).

This momentous occasion underscored the fraternity’s continued commitment to fostering unity, service, and camaraderie across regional chapters.

Ceremonial Display of Unity and Tradition

The celebration began with the arrival of members, officers, and distinguished guests, followed by a vibrant parade led by Eagle Miguel John Embajador, QABGSEC Membership Committee Chairman.

The formal proceedings commenced with the entrance of the colors, after a Call to Order by Governor Eagle Dande G. Serot, who traveled from Saudi Arabia to officiate. Prayers, including an Islamic invocation led by Eagle Solidin Saipudin-Masildi, along with renditions of the Philippine and Qatar national anthems, added a sense of solemnity to the occasion, reflecting the fraternity’s multicultural values.

Highlight of the Event: Batch Majestic

The induction of Batch Majestic was the highlight of the program, as 12 new members officially joined the ranks of the Eagles. The inductees were Daniel Torejas Co, Jeroam James Dela Cruz Arriesgado, Raymond Cecilio Acio Cabuatan, R’Vincent Micua Ayson, Venison Sarmiento Talimongan, Victor Arpilleda Metran, Antonieta Concepcion, Jackielou Datol Cabuatan, Marizel Supetran Kovacs, Niña Karisse Mae Carpio Arriesgado, Richelle Balboa Arugay, and Victoria Mendoza Bedon.

The ceremony included the symbolic pinning of Eagles pins, marking the completion of the Five I’s (Interview, Introduction, Indoctrination, Incubation, and Induction). The Brotherhood Handshake followed, both acts representing unity and a deep commitment to the fraternity’s core principles of service, camaraderie, and humanitarian care.

In addition to Batch Majestic, the ceremony also recognized the induction of 12 members from two Saudi Arabia-based Eagles clubs of Masidlak Black Gold Sapatilha Eagles Club (MASBGSEC) & Silagang Bagani Black Gold Sapatilha Eagles Club (SBBGSEC), to further strengthening the fraternity’s regional ties. Governor Eagle Dande Serot’s presence and leadership as the authorized officiating officer emphasized the interconnectedness and shared vision of the regional Eagles chapters.

A key highlight of the event was the awarding of honorary membership to Nestor Burayag, Welfare Officer of the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) under the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) of the Philippines. This recognition celebrated his unwavering dedication to fostering solidarity within the Filipino expatriate community and his ongoing support for the Eagles Club. In his address, Burayag emphasized the vital role of collaboration and resilience in strengthening community bonds and advancing collective well-being

During the induction ceremony, the new members were presented with their Eagles pins and took part in the Brotherhood Handshake—a powerful symbol of unity and their commitment to uphold the core principles of the Fraternal Order of Eagles: service, fraternity, and humanitarian care.

Inspiring Messages and Vision for the Future

Speeches from club leaders inspired the inductees to embrace their roles within the fraternity. Eagle Gineses M. Trayfalgar, QABGSEC Tribunal/Grievance Chairman, welcomed the new members with a message of encouragement and unity. Club presidents Eagle Bebot Pilapil (MASBGSEC President), Eagle Rio Dalumpines (SBBGSEC President) and Eagle Heintji Nagal (QABGSEC President) highlighted the fraternity’s mission of service and humanitarian efforts. Lady Eagle Joy Ving Alfoso, AKSELEG President, extended her support and encouraged the inductees to contribute actively to the fraternity’s initiatives.

Governor Eagle Dande Serot and Vice Governor Eagle Orlie Omandap shared their vision for the club’s future, emphasizing its role in fostering social unity, promoting humanitarian efforts, and contributing to nation-building. Their speeches highlighted the responsibility of the new inductees to uphold and advance the legacy of the Eagles with pride, dedication, and a commitment to service.

In his speech, Eagle Heintji Nagal, Chartered Club President of the first Philippine Eagle in Qatar, QABSEC, emphasized the importance of fostering a family-like bond within the fraternity – one built on love, respect, unity, and delicadeza.

Master of Ceremonies Eagle Jyerex Abrasado, QABGSEC Chartered Treasurer and Vice Chairman of the Membership Committee, expertly guided the event, ensuring its smooth progression. His leadership underscored the fraternity’s dedication to organizational excellence and effective management.

The celebration concluded with lively entertainment from Lady Eagle Jackielou Datol Cabuatan of Batch Majestic and special guest Jarlene Queen Datol. This was followed by an Eagles Toast led by Eagle Reynaldo Reyes-Villaruz, QABGSEC Chairman of Ways and Means, and a closing message from Eagle Jonifer Laza, QABGSEC Vice-President. A photo session commemorated the event, capturing the unity and pride shared by all in attendance.
