DOHA: The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation's bombing of a school affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which shelters displaced persons in the Al-Shati camp in the Gaza Strip, which led to the death and injury of a number of people. The State of Qatar considered it an extension of the occupation's policies based on targeting unarmed civilians and civilian objects, and a blatant violation of the principles of international law and international humanitarian law.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned in a statement of the serious repercussions of the occupation's attempts to obstruct the activities of UNRWA, including education services, after the Israeli Knesset passed draft laws banning its activities in the occupied Palestinian territories, and its earlier approval of a draft law classifying it as a terrorist organization.
