DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has thanked the Brazilian president for inviting him to the G20 Summit, hoping that its outcomes will find "solutions to the common and pressing challenges facing our world".
In a post on his official X account, His Highness the Amir said: "Today, I participated in the G20 Summit held in Rio de Janeiro under the theme 'Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet'. I thank my friend, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, for inviting me to this global summit, which addressed important international issues and whose outcomes we hope will contribute to finding solutions to the common and pressing challenges facing our world, with the aim of building a future in which our societies enjoy peace and prosperity."
