He added, “We have the licence for our business since 2016, but we did not open our outlet yet as we are seeking an appropriate place for the coffee shop.
“Through this Night Market, we had the opportunity to introduce our brand. As to opening our permanent shop someday, we are still in the planning stage, but hopefully, we will be able to open in February. There are many coffee shops in the country offering unique concepts and we are fortunate to get good feedback from people who have visited our stall.”
Aside from the vibrant food scene in the bazaar, the place also offers a convenient shopping experience to visitors with the presence of retail shops offering clothes, jewellery, coffee mugs and other ceramic products made from Turkey, Arabic perfumes and phone accessories among others.
Fadia Dib, sales manager of Valia Trading, said: “It is our first time to participate in the Night Market because we usually do wholesale business and we have a store in all branches of Ansar Gallery and other malls. One of our brands Dermacol, which originates from Czech Republic, is famous for its make up cover.
“We also have Arcancil from Paris and Provoc from Lebanon, but the concept is from London. We have been in Qatar for seven years but this Night Market is a good experience and good marketing for us.”
She is personally manning the Dermacol stall at the Night Market and cheerfully assisting customers who are on a hunt for quality make up and other beauty products.
Another entrepreneur who manages the Nana Accessories stall offering intricately designed necklaces, earrings and rings also hailed the importance of such public bazaar in promoting distinct products such as hers.
Night Market Qatar will remain open until May.
Aside from the retail shops and food court, a children zone, which is expected to draw more visitors to the venue, is in the works.
