ABU DHABI: President of the United Arab Emirates His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to His Highness the President of the United Arab Emirates, and His Highness’s wishes for good health and happiness for him, and for the people of the Emirates continued progress and prosperity.
For his part, His Highness the President of the United Arab Emirates conveyed his greetings to His Highness the Amir of the country, wishing him good health and happiness, and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, they reviewed the relations between the two brotherly countries, ways to support and develop them, and exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues, stressing in this context the importance of intensifying efforts towards a ceasefire, reaching a comprehensive calm in the Middle East region and preventing the expansion of the conflict there, in a way that preserves regional security and stability.
