DOHA: The State of Qatar participated in the 41st Meeting of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Ministers of Interior of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held in Doha, on Wednesday.
The Qatari delegation was headed by Minister of State for Interior Affairs HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al Thani.
The delegation of the United Arab Emirates was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, while the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain was headed by Minister of Interior HE General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was led by Minister of Interior HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The delegation of the Sultanate of Oman was headed by HE Minister of Interior Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, while the delegation of the State of Kuwait was led by First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.
The meeting was also attended by Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr Jasem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance joint security cooperation among GCC countries, as well as key topics on its agenda, and appropriate decisions were made in this regard.
