The QCSF University Esports Championship for the 2024-2025 sports season (male and female categories) successfully concluded on Wednesday at the Doha University for Science and Technology (UDST) arena.

The tournament ran from November 18 to 20, showcasing exciting competitions and remarkable performances.

In the male students category , Doha University for Science and Technology claimed the first place, while Hamad Bin Khalifa University secured second place, and Qatar University finished third.

In the female students’ category , Doha University for Science and Technology emerged as champions, followed by Qatar University in second place and Lusail University in third.

QCSF Secretary-General Rashid Saeed Adiba honoured the top-performing students in all competitions and overall rankings. Likewise Dr. Angela Flowerday, Vice President of Doha University for Science and Technology for student affairs presented awards to the winning female students in various competitions and the overall standings.

The QCSF Secretary-General Adiba further honoured Doha University for Science and Technology, with Dr. Angela Foularde, Vice President of Student Affairs, accepting the shield on the university’s behalf.

The Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation was also acknowledged with Mohammed Al Rumaihi receiving the shield as the federation’s representative.

The championship was organized by QCSF in collaboration with the Qatar Esports Federation and hosted by Doha University for Science and Technology. It brought together students from Qatar University, Doha University for Science and Technology, Community College, and Lusail University, competing across five esports categories.
