DOHA: Tonight marks the beginning of the Al Zabana star, a period characterized by cooler nights and moderate daytime temperatures, according to the Qatar Meteorology Department.
The Al Zabana star is the final star of Al Wasmi and the autumn season, as well as the second star of Sirius. Its rise will continue for 13 days.
During this time, winter-like conditions will become increasingly apparent, with nighttime temperatures dropping significantly. Daytime temperatures are also expected to remain moderate.
Additionally, disturbances in sea conditions are anticipated during this period due to cold winds, which may lead to an increased likelihood of thunderstorms, the Meteorology Department said.
It also forecast chances of light rain at places in the middle of the week with weather conditions becomingpartly cloudy to cloudy.
