Patrik Schick scored a hat-trick as Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen fought from two goals down to beat Heidenheim 5-2 on Saturday, and Hoffenheim under new coach Christian Ilzer came from behind three times in a 4-3 triumph over RB Leipzig. Heidenheim stunned Leverkusen with a 2-0 lead after 21 minutes from Niklas Dorsch and Mathias Honsak as the home defence did not look good. But Exequiel Palacios and Schick pulled the hosts level before the end of the half, Schick completed his hat-trick in the 52nd and 71st, and Granit Xhaka wrapped up matters in the 82nd. Leverkusen in fourth have 20 points to trail leaders Bayern Munich, who beat Augsburg 3-0 on Friday from Harry Kane’s hat-trick, by nine points. Leipzig in second slipped eight points behind Bayern after defeat at lowly Hoffenheim where Jacob Bruun Larsen set up Hlozek and headed the winner five minutes later in the 87th. (DPA)
