The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) hosted a special felicitation ceremony in its premises to honour prominent personalities from Karnataka who have significantly contributed to Indian culture and society. The event celebrated the achievements of renowned figures, including Gururaj Karajagi, Ramesh Aravind, Captain Naveen Nagappa, Radha Sridhar, RJ Prasanna, Kudroli Ganesh, and Anumol Anukutty, a noted actress in the Malayalam film and TV industry.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome from Adv. Jaffar Khan, ICC Managing Committee Member, who greeted the distinguished guests and the audience. ICC Vice President Subramanya Hebbagelu expressed gratitude to the celebrities for their presence and lauded their outstanding contributions to enriching Indian art, culture, and public service.

Gargy Vaidya, ICC’s Head of External Activities, delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, emphasising the importance of recognising cultural icons who inspire and unite communities. The event proceedings were skillfully anchored by Shantanu Deshpande, ICC’s Head of School Activities, ensuring a seamless and engaging program for all attendees.

Among the attendees were ICC’s General Secretary Mohan Kumar, other Managing Committee members, presidents of associated organizations, senior community leaders, and a large gathering of representatives from the Indian diaspora.

The presence of a vibrant and enthusiastic audience underscored the pride and admiration the community holds for these celebrated figures.
