DOHA: Lusail International Circuit (LIC) has announced fan activities for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024, scheduled to take place from November 29 to December 1.

In a statement on Sunday, LIC revealed that children under 12 will be granted free entry to the general admission area in Lusail's Hazm district on Friday, provided they are accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or guardian. This will allow them to enjoy an array of activities and entertainment in the fan zone.

LIC will offer a variety of other activities across the venue, including laser games, kart racing for children and teenagers, face painting, immersive AI photo booths, and car races for kids.

Fans will also have the chance to watch drivers participating in the Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East, F1 Academy and FIA Formula 2 Championship during their practice sessions in preparation for these races throughout the day.

The weekend will feature concerts on the main stage in the circuit's concert area. For the first time in Qatar, fans will also be able to meet their motorsport heroes at the F1 Fan Forum. On Friday and Saturday, Formula 1 drivers will head to the main stage in the fan zone for a series of exclusive dialogue sessions with fans.

According to the statement, race enthusiasts of all ages can enjoy a wide range of races on Saturday, including the inaugural Porsche Carrera Cup race, along with a dazzling array of activities in the fan zones.

The day's events will include the Pit Stop Challenge, where fans can experience changing Formula 1 car tires in the fan zone, as well as a Formula 1 driving simulator offering racegoers the chance to test their driving skills. The fastest lap of the day will win prizes, including signed memorabilia from the drivers and guided tours of the paddock area.

Additionally, the circuit will feature a digital pavilion in the fan zone where Formula 1 fans can take digital or photographic selfies with images of their favorite drivers. A mini podium in the fan zone will give motorsport fans the chance to experience the thrill of standing on a winners' podium.

The final race day, next Sunday, will include an exciting schedule of competitions and entertainment. Fans will have the opportunity to see cars participating in the Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East, Formula 1 Academy, and Formula 2 up close before they head to the track for the highly competitive final races.

A concert will be held in the circuit's state-of-the-art concert area after the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix race.
