DOHA: Speaker of the Shura Council HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim has met with First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Sweden HE Kenneth G Forslund, who is on a visit to the country.
At the outset of the meeting, the Speaker of the Shura Council lauded the depth of relations between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Sweden, as well as the progress these relations have made across various fields. The meeting discussed a range of topics of shared interest, including the emphasis on the need to activate friendship groups between the two sides, in addition to discussing ways to coordinate joint positions on parliamentary platforms.
