Various Pakistani forums organised a joint farewell function to bid adieu to Waheed Ullah Khan, the Community Welfare Attaché at the Pakistan Embassy in Doha.
Speaking on the occasion, Khan thanked the community members for organising a farewell reception in his honour. “I am now returning to Pakistan with fond memories of Doha, where I spent the best time of my life as a community welfare attaché. Reminiscing about his time in Qatar, Khan shared that he tried his best to resolve the issues faced by community members and even worked on public holidays whenever required. He urged his compatriots to continue working hard for the development of both their motherland and their country of residence. He also praised the excellent working and living conditions provided by the Qatari authorities.
Earlier, prominent Pakistani community members and representatives of various forums paid tribute to Khan’s community services during his time in Doha, especially those related to the Pakistani workforce in Qatar.
