Rafael Leao came off the bench to help seven-time winners AC Milan to a third straight Champions League victory, a hard earned 3-2 at bottom club Slovan Bratislava on Tuesday. Atletico Madrid had far less trouble in the other early fixture at the start of the second half of the eight-game league stage, with Julian Alvaraz and Angel Correa netting a brace each in a 6-0 triumph at Sparta Prague. Milan and Atletico both have nine points to remain in contention for a top eight finish guaranteeing direct entry into the last 16. Prague have four and Bratislava zero.
