Qatar Chamber, in collaboration with the First International Development Centre, successfully conducted a three-day training program on ‘Credit Management and Debt Collection,’ with 21 trainees participating.

The programme, held for the first time in Qatar, covered various critical aspects of credit management and debt collection. Participants explored fundamental topics, including the basics of credit management, debt recovery strategies, and the ten elements of credit and risk management. Practical methods for collecting debts from businesses and individuals were also discussed.

Additionally, the training highlighted the responsibilities of collection officers, professional obligations, and customer rights and evaluation. It further emphasised the importance of crafting robust credit policies and understanding statutory attribution and legal frameworks in alignment with Qatariregulations.

The programme attracted a diverse group of attendees, including financial experts, business owners, consultants, and employees from financial departments.

Concluding the event, Qatar Chamber awarded participants with certificates of participation, recognizing their commitment to enhancing skills in credit and debt management.
