DOHA: A delegation from the Ministry of Interior (MoI) and the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) has reviewed best practices, experiences, and systems applied in the management of penal and correctional institutions in South Korea.
The delegation, led by Colonel Yousef Bilal Al Abdullah, Assistant Director of the Penal and Correctional Institutions Department, explored inmate care and rehabilitation programs that aim to foster positive behaviours and facilitate their reintegration into society.
This visit aligns with the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to implementing international best practices in the field of penal and correctional institutions.
