ROME: Qatar Emiri Naval Forces Commander HE Maj Gen (Sea) Abdullah bin Hassan Al Sulaiti, with the presence of CEO & Managing Director of Fincantieri Ship Building Pierroberto Folgiero, and Italian Chief of Naval Staff Representative Lt Gen Andrea Geelio, witnessed the ceremony of raising the flag of the State of Qatar on the Al Fulk strategic transport & support vessel.
Qatar Amiri Naval Forces signed on receiving the vessel.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Italy HE Khalid bin Yosuf Al Sada, Qatar Emiri Land Forces Commander HE Maj Gen Jassim bin Ali AI Attiyah, Qatari Military Attaché to the Republic of Italy Maj Gen (Sea) Hilal bin Ali Al Mohannadi, and a number of senior QAF officers.
