Botafogo F.R., winners of last night’s Copa Libertadores, have become the final team to qualify for the
FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2024 scheduled to be held in Doha from from December 11-18.
Botafogo defeated Atletico Mineiro 3-1 in a dramatic all-Brazilian final on Saturday.
Botafogo will be playing against C.F. Pachuca for the FIFA Derby of the Americas Qatar 2024. The winner of this match will then face off against Al Ahly SC for the FIFA Challengers Cup, which will determine the club that will contend with Real Madrid CF for the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
Tickets went on sale on November 21, following a week long exclusive Visa pre-sale period, and witnessed significant demand from Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
