The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his accompanying delegation received a warm welcome from Amir of Kuwait HH Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah upon arrival at Kuwait International Airport to participate in the 45th session of the GCC Supreme Council, alongside leaders of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) and heads of delegations at Liberation Hall in Bayan Palace in Kuwait on Sunday.
Also present to welcome HH the Amir were Crown Prince of Kuwait HH Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait HH Sheikh Ahmad Al Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, a cohort of ministers of Kuwait, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jasem Mohamed Albudaiw, Ambassador of Qatar to Kuwait HE Ali bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, and Ambassador of Kuwait to Qatar HE Khaled bin Badr Al Mutairi.
HH the Amir was accompanied by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and an official delegation.
After the session, HH the Amir was seen off at Kuwait International Airport by Chief of the Kuwait National Guard Sheikh Mubarak Al Humoud Al Jaber Al Sabah.
