DOHA: The Public Works Authority 'Ashghal', represented by the Public Services Department, has announced the organisation of a public auction to sell 105 furnished cabins and large quantities of artificial turf, which were used during the 2022 World Cup events, starting from Sunday, December 8, until the quantity runs out.
Auction location and dates
The auction will be held in Abu Fontas (Free Zone - 2022 World Cup Fan Accommodation) behind the Free Zone Metro Station near Hamad International Airport, during two periods daily:
Morning period: from 8am to 12pm.
Evening period: from 3pm to 5pm.
In this context, Yousef Al Obaidli, Director of the Public Services Department, called on all citizens and residents to benefit from this auction due to the quality of the cabins and artificial grass offered at competitive prices.
Al-Obaidli added that the auction is an excellent opportunity to obtain high-quality cabins and artificial grass in good condition, noting that the sale is carried out according to the principle of transparency and equal opportunities for all.
Terms and conditions of the auction
The initial insurance value is an amount of QR500 for each full quantity of artificial grass and 500 for each cabin, coded from (T 01-T105) and is paid at the time of the auction start by credit card.
The amount of artificial grass is very large and the cabins are (105 units) furnished.
The entire available quantity of artificial grass is sold at auction, while the cabins can be purchased by the unit or by the quantity.
If the auction is awarded to the highest bidder (buyer), he must pay the full value by credit card directly at the time of award.
The bidder shall be obligated to receive and transport the items at his own expense, and the announcing entity shall not be responsible for any fees such as transportation, labor fees, or damage after the award within (3 days) from the date of award.
If the bidder (buyer) withdraws from transferring what was awarded to him within (3 days) from the date of payment of the value, the award will be cancelled and the award value will be confiscated.
The inspection of the cabins and artificial grass will be carried out at the location and time specified by the announcing party.
Participants in the auction, for companies, must submit a copy of the commercial register, establishment record, and a letter of authorization for the bidding person, along with showing the original ID card and a copy of the ID card. As for individuals, they must submit the original ID card and a copy of the ID card, provided that it is valid.
