LONDON: Within the framework of the state visit of His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to London, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has met with Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom HE David Lammy.
During the meeting, they reviewed relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories and Syria, and several topics of common interest.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed that the State of Qatar looks forward to elevating the close relations with the friendly United Kingdom to broader horizons of cooperation and strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries in light of the results of the state visit that His Highness the Amir is conducting to London.
