LONDON: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has visited the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK.
His Highness the Amir was received upon his arrival by Secretary of State for Defence of the United Kingdom HE John Healey, Commandant of the Academy Major General Nick Cowley, and a number of senior officers, military leaders and officials.
During the visit, His Highness the Amir listened to an explanation about the joint Qatari-British squadron exercise, and met with many academics at the college and Qatari candidates affiliated with it. His Highness the Amir also witnessed an air show of warplanes.
His Highness the Amir was accompanied during the visit by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation.
