The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Consort of HH the Amir HH Sheikha Jowaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani attended a dinner banquet hosted by HM King Charles III of the United Kingdom and HM Queen Camilla at Buckingham Palace in their honour.
HM King Charles III welcomed Their Highnesses on their state visit and applauded the exemplary relations between the two countries.
HM the King expressed admiration for the tremendous development in Qatar across all sectors, and pleasure at the participation of many British companies in this progress.
He also emphasised the importance of HH the Amir’s visit, which represents an opportunity to celebrate the strategic relations between the two countries, looking forward to further cooperation in various fields.
On his part, HH the Amir hailed the strong ties of friendship between the two countries and the fruitful strategic cooperation in all areas.
He expressed deep thanks and appreciation to HM King Charles III and HM Queen Camilla for the kind invitation, as well as for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him, Her Highness Sheikha Jowaher, and the accompanying official delegation, which reflect the profound friendly and historical relations between the two countries and their peoples.
The dinner banquet was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and a number of members of the official delegation.
Present from the British side were HRH Prince William of Wales, HRH Princess Catherine of Wales, Prime Minister Keir Starmer, several members of the royal family, and guests.
