The Ministry of Labour (MoL), in collaboration with Qatar Finance and Business Academy and under the sponsorship of Ahli Bank, organised the fourth edition of the ‘Jahez’ Career Readiness Programme.
The programme aims at qualifying Qatari men and women, enhances their professional readiness, leadership skills, and teamwork abilities, develops their creative thinking, and improves their chances of securing desired job opportunities.
This will help them achieve their career goals and succeed in their diverse career paths.
The programme, held on December 10 and 11, is part of the Ministry of Labour’s efforts to qualify and develop the skills of the national workforce, enhancing its competitiveness in the labour market. This aligns with the Third National Development Strategy (2024-2030), which aims to drive a transformative shift towards a more productive labour market, focusing on jobs that require high-level skills.
The programme provided joint theoretical training between the Ministry of Labour and the Qatar Finance and Business Academy. It covered key skills and knowledge necessary to empower job seekers to find suitable positions in the labour market.
The “Jahez” Career Readiness Programme is one of the initiatives implemented by the Ministry of Labour in partnership with the private sector to prepare and develop the skills of the national workforce before they enter the labour market.
Qatar aims to enhance the skills of its workforce and prepare them to become competitive in the labour market, in line with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
