In implementation of the directives of His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to operate an air bridge to bring aid to the brotherly people of Syria, the Permanent Committee for Rescue, Relief and Humanitarian Aid in the disaster-stricken
areas of brotherly and friendly countries, emphasized that the total humanitarian aid provided to the Syrian brothers has reached approximately 55 tonnes. The committee stated that the humanitarian aid delivered with the participation of a team from the Qatari International Search and Rescue Group of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), included food and medical items, along with shelter supplies.
